The Idaho Foodbank: The Idaho Foodbank’s Mission is to help feed, educate and advocate for Idaho’s hungry through collaborative partnerships to develop efficient solutions that strengthen individuals, families and communities
Opportunity Description: We are looking for volunteers or groups of volunteers to help our neighbors in need. Please contact Ashley Singer at asinger@idahofoodbank.org if your group would be interested in coming in to volunteer.
Warehouse volunteer shifts include;
repacking bulk food into family-size portions,
sorting dry food from food drives,
labeling food products,
building backpacks for one of our child nutrition programs and building a supplemental food box for our senior nutrition program.
Possible Shifts to sign up for are;

COVID 19 Update:
We are doing our best to ensure your safety when volunteering by:
- Requiring you to wear a face mask
- Asking you to leave your personal belongings, including your cell phone at home or in your car
- Practicing social distancing
- Reducing our volunteer group size to 10 people
- Asking volunteers to stay 6 feet away from each other
- Washing hands and wearing gloves
- Sanitizing work areas (and touch points, including tools and equipment) between each volunteer shift
Please remember that all volunteers must wear closed toe shoes.
