Day Center Support Volunteer

Open Opportunity

Family Promise is a non-profit organization that provides immediate shelter and various forms of support in order to empower families experiencing homelessness to achieve sustainable independence. Come help manage our Day Center to ensure it is safe and clean for the families in our program!

We are in need of Day Center Support Volunteers that are interested in volunteering with us on a recurring schedule. If you can give one day a week, or even one day a month, we need you!

Day Center Support Volunteers will help us:
-Clean and sanitize the space to ensure that it is safe for our families, staff, and volunteers.
-Manage, sanitize, and organize the in-kind donations so that they can be easily accessed when families are in need of items.
-Sort essential items, coats, toys, clothing, and move in kits and making sure they are organized in a comprehensive system throughout our supply rooms.

Volunteering at our Day Center is a great way to help us ensure that we can provide quality services to families in our program and empower them to sustainable independence! We are happy to work around school/work schedules, and are currently limiting the number of volunteers in the center to 3 at a time in order to maximize the health and safety of all parties.

Please adhere to the Givepulse Covid-19 registration guidelines and do not register for this event if you are experiencing any symptoms related to Covid-19. Masks are required during all Family Promise of the Palouse volunteer opportunities.

Please message us or call our office with any questions.
