About

The Clay Studio Assistant will assist floor staff in the basic functions of running the clay studio including wedging clay for reuse, maintaining a clean and healthy environment, and engaging in creating a positive atmosphere. In addition, volunteers will help create, inspire, and encourage creative thinking through positive interaction with patrons both young and old. Volunteers must be comfortable with clay or other art media and willing to assist children in their creative processes.

Requirement Details
We ask all volunteers to attend one of our monthly group orientations and pass a background check. Please apply to volunteer at Portland Children's Museum through our website: http://www.portlandcm.org/about-us/volunteer and you will hear back from us with details on the upcoming orientation.

Parking Details
FYI, parking in Washington Park is pay-as-you-go parking and the parking lot can get extremely busy, especially during sunny weekend days. Taking public transit is highly encouraged.
