TIFO Project Support Intern

Full-time dates: 12 weeks between May 12, 2025 – August 22, 2025, flexible start/end date or option for two vacation weeks during the 14-week period)

OR part-time dates: April ~ October, totaling 480 hours

Pay: $17/hour

Description: This internship will support multiple projects at TerraGraphics International Foundation (TIFO), including work with the Shoshone-Paiute Tribe and projects in Kazakhstan, Georgia, and other locations in Eastern Europe/Central Asia. Duties include desk research to support field activities, data entry, document preparation, manuscript editing and peer-review journal submission, filing, and other duties as assigned. The candidate must be organized, be able to work independently, and have strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Background in environmental sciences, public health, or related fields is strongly preferred. This position can be full-time over the May 12-August 22 period or extended as a part-time position over April through October, depending on the candidate’s schedule and needs.

The intern will work at the TIFO office in Moscow, ID, with the option to work remotely on some days as needed. Professional development opportunities through The University of Wyoming Center for Rural Resilience and Innovation will be provided to the individual.
