About
Join Habitat to build affordable homeownership in Spokane! Habitat for Humanity-Spokane is welcoming volunteers to our build site in the City of Spokane. As a volunteer, you and others will spend the day using responsible practices to build homes that last.
No previous construction experience is necessary. We build rain or shine so please dress for the weather, layers are best, wear closed-toed shoes, and bring a refillable water bottle, pack a snack or lunch (if working both shifts). Reservations are required. If you have any questions, call (509) 824-2595 or email gpenaflor@habitat-spokane.org.
Requirements
Every shift starts with a brief Habitat introduction, safety orientation, and description of work assignments. All volunteers work under the instruction of the Habitat site Construction Supervisor. We will NOT be allowing any walk-on volunteers. The City of Spokane construction sites vary, the site address will be confirmed at the time of your reservations. If you need to cancel for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible. Give us a call, and we will be happy to move your shift to a different date. Habitat for Humanity will provide all tools, safety glasses, and hard hats which will be sanitized after every shift.
