    Morning Tutoring Fall 2019 (10/9 - 10/24)

I was able to help a 1st grader named Isaac with some adding and subtracting through a game we played called greater than or less than. It was a pretty cool experience.

    Pullman Regional Hospital

In volunteering at Pullman Regional Hospital with Butch T. Cougar I was able to greet many of the staff at Pullman Regional and bring the joy of Butch T. Cougar to not only faculty, but patients as well. I was able to provide a change in atmosphere in what can be perceived as a scary place. In a sense, I was Butch's mouth since he was not able to speak. I brought the joy of cheerleading to Pullman Regional and was able to interact with my community through WSU Cheer in a way that I would not be able to outside of uniform. Being a Coug is something special, as most Pullman residents know, and when I wear my uniform I am able to bring that special experience to people that are not aware of its meaning and rekindle the fire in those that are.
