In Person Clinic Volunteering

Open Opportunity

About

We continue to have two clinics a week on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5-8 PM. We have PPE and have moved to an appointment based system to ensure physical distancing in our waiting room! This also gives us the opportunity to verbally screen patients for any COVID like symptoms and to ensure they are not trying to access TOFC for COVID care. We are actively recruiting volunteers at this time!

Starting in January we are also aiming to have an outdoor walk up tent at the clinic. This would allow people to come and get basic nurse level care and schedule future appointments. We are imagining it as an in person nurse advice line and a way to reduce barriers to make appointments for those without phone or email. We are developing standing orders right now with our medical director and this is an exciting opportunity for nurses to volunteer!
