About
Join us at the CCE Public Square as a distinguished panel will discuss what the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, which held The Constitution does not confer a right to abortion; that overruled previous Supreme Court Decisions Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pennsylvania v. Casey; and determined that the authority to regulate abortion resides with the people and their elected representatives.
WSU faculty, staff, and students will offer perspectives from a range of viewpoints and disciplines. We will learn more about important research and practice currently being done in this field and how legalization affects members of the WSU community. And, importantly, there will be a live Q&A session in which panelists will take your questions about issues that matter most to you.
The Public Square discussion will take place Thursday, Sep. 22 at 3 p.m. in Butch’s Den in the lower level of the Compton Union Building on the Pullman Campus.
All Public Square discussions are free and open to WSU students and personnel.
