"Shop-&-Swap" (Ongoing Donation) Volunteers

About

Milestone's "Shop-&-Swap" is an open, ongoing donation-system that provides basic household essentials, clothing of all type/sizes, tools, furniture, books, board games, toys, and a plethora of other (useful, in-tact, appropriate) items to those in need, at no cost. The "Shop-&-Swap" is located at one of our facilities in Moscow, to be as accessible as possible to our IWC resident-employees, as well as the rest of our employees & residents.

Milestone has received an influx of donations from our employees, friends, family, and many other gracious members of our community - truly amazing! Additionally, it's created a rising need for volunteers/service workers to help us effectively, sort through, organize and label all items donated, as well as safely maintain the entire space, as intended, which includes ongoing work to ensure there's always a clear walkway for any & all visitors.

Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:

Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.
Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.

If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.
